Software recovery for an ALFRA AP 800 machine
The machine stopped after a power failure, and sanctions blocked access to the control password. We wrote new controller software and restored operation.
Yugkomplektavtomatika is one of the largest full-cycle switchgear manufacturers in Southern Russia. The company used an ALFRA AP 800 stationary machine to punch holes in workpieces.
After a sudden power loss the machine's control system stopped working, and sanctions made its password unobtainable.
We developed new controller software and set up the encoders and auxiliary equipment. We restored punching of round, square, rectangular and custom holes in sheet metal and cabinet doors up to 2200 × 1000 mm with folded edges up to 40 mm high. We also restored hydraulic stop locking, digital X/Y travel measurement and control of the dual-circuit hydraulic unit.
