A control system for a 68,000 m³/h air separation unit at an integrated steel plant. We designed the system, developed the application software on Siemens S7-1500 in TIA Portal and ran the factory acceptance tests.
The system includes interlocks, protections and a start-up and shutdown assistant that guides the operator step by step. The purification unit sequence runs in automatic, step-by-step and manual modes. Data is sent to iba PDA for monitoring.
